Fire watch log · Tower 7

Aug 2. Clear all day. No smoke. A hiker down by the old camp waved up at me. I waved back.

Aug 9. Someone at the treeline below the tower at dusk. Didn't answer the radio. Gone when I looked again.

Aug 11. Same place. Behind the big spruce. I could see an arm and a shoulder. It did not move for an hour.

Aug 12. Moved when I went to make coffee. Closer.

Aug 13. I don't go down after dark anymore.
